消费者权益保护运动的兴起与商品经济的发展紧密相连。随着现代工业化生产的迅速发展和生产技术的日新月异，消费品的结构日趋精密复杂，使用难度增大，商品流通加快，竞争加剧，消费事故也大量发生。尤其是近年来，假冒伪劣商品在世界市场上泛滥成灾，已成为各国普遍关注的社会公害。这迫使消费者组织起来以保护自己的利益。

1960年，美国、英国、澳大利亚、比利时和荷兰等5个国家的消费者发起成立了独立的、非政治性的国际消费者联盟组织，总部设在海牙。这一组织现在更名为国际消费者协会，拥有来自115个国家和地区的250多个消费者组织。中国消费者协会于1987年加入了这一非盈利性的国际组织。

如果让我买一些东西的话，我会根据平时常用的东西要多买一些。那些家里有而且又用不着的东西就少买，甚至不买。但是，当一个物品坏了的时候，就要及时维修，如果是一支钢笔尖坏了，买一个钢笔尖的钱和买一支钢笔的钱相差不多，那样还不如再买一支新钢笔呢！所以说，买东西要有技巧。

前不久，我看到商店里挤满了人，出来的人手里拿着各种各样的小零食，这不是浪费钱吗？其实，那些都是垃圾食品，吃了对身体有害，少吃点零食不但对身体有益，而且还能省钱呢！

我嘛！不太喜欢花钱，即使花钱也不会花自己的压岁钱，而是花平时靠做家务得到的零花钱，一般就是买一些学习用品和生活用品。零售也不经常吃，一个月偶尔吃一次两次，所以花的钱就少一些。

我很喜欢吃外面的油炸食品，油炸食品不但花费高，而且对身体伤害很大，听说有的是用地沟油做的，并且添加了很多食品添加剂，还是少吃甚至不吃最好，不但保护了身体，还能省下一笔钱。

last but not least keep a balance table each month. if you have fancy dinner this week then you are supposed to cut down the cost next week. also you can set up some bonus plan for yourself. if you spend less than say 500 yuan per month then you can allow yourself a 200 yuan luxury consumption next week. the amount varies as to how much you earn and how much you have.

in a word it is beneficial to carry rational consumption among college students.
