尽管一开始教授的妻子并不接受小八，不过看到自己的丈夫对这只小家伙宠爱有加，为了教小八捡球自己还亲自示范，妻子看在眼里，也慢慢地接纳了小八。小八最喜欢做的事情就是每天送教授去上班，然后等他下班一起回家。这大概是小八一天之中最值得期待和开心的事情了，有时候还会打地洞越狱，这真的让人感到不可思议。不幸的是教授在一次演出中意外病发身亡，小八再也没能等到主人的归来，可是小八却从没有放弃等待主人的归来，直到生命的最后一刻。

现在我们的生活那么美好，为什么还要去了解这段黑暗的历史呢?因为不了解历史的话，我们会重复历史。而且现在有些地方还在发生战争，还有很多人每天生活在硝烟中。

而且看到影片中的基度，我也想到了自己的父亲。我觉得我的爸爸也很伟大，他像基度一样，乐观向上，又很有智慧，也经常会为了我而编织善意的谎言。每次妈妈做了饭，爸爸都说他只爱吃鱼骨头，不喜欢吃鱼肉。每次明明一脸疲惫地回到家，却总说自己不累……爸爸，在这里我想对您说一句：“爸爸，我爱你!”
